HUMAIN ("we," "our," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. What We Collect

2. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not read your text messages or call logs
- We do not access your photos, camera, or microphone
- We do not track your location
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to provide HUMAIN's features:
- Sending you birthday reminders and call scheduling notifications
- Powering the 24-Hour Rule check-in system
- Tracking your relationship connection frequency preferences
- Sending SMS invitations to care partners on your behalf (only when you explicitly request it)
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the United States. Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Database and authentication (privacy policy)
- Apple Sign-In: Authentication (privacy policy)
- Google Sign-In: Authentication (privacy policy)
- RevenueCat: Subscription management (privacy policy)
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data, by contacting us
- Export your data, by contacting us
- Delete your account and all data, in app settings or by contacting us
- Opt out of notifications at any time through device settings
7. Children's Privacy
HUMAIN is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregate data may be retained for analytics.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
