How do I create an account?
You can sign up using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or your email address. If you choose email, we'll send you a 6-digit verification code to confirm your identity. No passwords required.
What is the 24-Hour Rule?
The 24-Hour Rule is a mutual care feature. When you and a close friend both opt in, HUMAIN gently reminds you to check in if 24 hours pass without contact. It's built on mutual consent and trust — both people must agree for it to activate.
Does HUMAIN read my messages or call logs?
No. HUMAIN never accesses your text messages, call history, photos, camera, or microphone. Check-ins are voluntary — you simply tell HUMAIN whether you've connected with someone, and we take your word for it.
How do birthday reminders work?
HUMAIN imports birthday dates from your contacts (with your permission). You'll receive a notification when someone's birthday is coming up, along with personalized message templates so reaching out feels natural.
Can I customize my notifications?
Yes. You can set your preferred reminder time for birthday notifications, enable or disable daily check-in reminders, and manage all notification preferences from the Settings tab. You can also turn off notifications entirely through your device settings.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently remove your account and all associated data within 30 days. You can also email us at
[email protected] to request deletion.
Is HUMAIN free?
HUMAIN is free to download and use. Some premium features are available through an optional subscription, which you can manage at any time through your device's subscription settings.
What data does HUMAIN collect?
We collect only what's needed to provide our features: your name, email, and the contact names and birthdays you choose to import. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. See our
